NOW CLOSED: The Thawra Poetry Competition

Thawra has been a home for poets since it was created. Now, we would like to take it one step further by launching The Thawra Poetry Competition: a yearly competition that seeks out the best talent from the POC community. This year’s theme is resist.

The winner has now been announced.

To enter this competition you must be:

  • BIPOC

  • 18+

  • based in the UK

The closing date for this competition is 1st May 2024. Those longlisted will be picked by 10th May 2024. The winner will be announced 8th June 2024.
