Defiance

In the heart of the forest, where shadows take chance,

ancient trees stand in a silent trance.

Their roots delved deep into the earth’s embrace,

resisting the winds that seek to erase.

Through the seasons of turmoil, they stand tall,

bearing witness to the rise and fall.

With each passing storm, they bend and sway,

yet never falter, never lose their way.

In the gentle flow of the river’s race,

resistance whispers, steady in its pace.

Carving paths through mountains of stone,

each ripple a testament to the unknown.

The mountains rise with steadfast might,

defying time; they stand in the light.

Their peaks adorned with snow and mist,

a symbol of resilience; they can’t resist.

Nature’s symphony, a tapestry divine,

where resistance and change intertwine.

In every leaf, in every blade of grass,

lies the power to overcome and to surpass.

So let us learn from natures grace:

embrace the journey, find our place.

For in resistance, we discover our worth

and transform the soil of our earth.
